On August 13, 2025, AFINA Group secured victory in the open auction for the large-scale privatization of PrJSC Vinnytsiapobutkhim – a company with a century-long history and significant potential in the household chemicals industry. Two bidders participated in the auction. The starting price of the lot was UAH 301 million, and AFINA Group’s offer of UAH 608 million became the highest, ensuring the company’s winning status.
Earlier, AFINA Group had launched the production of its own brands, Vukhastyk and Sarmix, at the plant’s facilities, and now plans to further expand their development after completing all legally required procedures for the transfer of ownership. These include finalizing payments and signing the purchase agreement with the State Property Fund of Ukraine, undergoing a comprehensive compliance review, confirming the absence of restrictions and sanctions, and the official transfer of the asset to the new owner. Only after these steps are completed will AFINA Group be able to fully manage the enterprise’s assets and expand the production of its brands.
For AFINA Group, the acquisition of Vinnytsiapobutkhim is more than just an investment project. It is a contribution to the revival of Ukrainian manufacturing, the reduction of the country’s dependence on imports, and the strengthening of its industrial potential. The launch of full-scale operations at the enterprise will create new opportunities for Ukrainian brands, support the national economy, and preserve the production expertise accumulated by generations of specialists.
