The Legendary Tower Is Back in Operation: AFINA Group Relaunches Ukraine’s Only Tower Detergent Production Facility

AFINA Group has resumed operation of the tower production line for powdered laundry detergents at the PrJSC Vinnytsiapobuthim plant, where well-known brands such as Vukhastyk and SARMIX are manufactured. This marks the first launch of the unique production tower since the facility became part of AFINA Group and represents an important milestone in the development of Ukraine’s household chemicals industry.

Standing 44 meters tall, the tower is the only operational production facility of its kind in Ukraine. It utilizes spray-drying technology, one of the most efficient methods for manufacturing modern powdered laundry detergents. This process produces lightweight, porous granules that dissolve quickly in water, distribute evenly during the wash cycle, and deliver outstanding cleaning performance.

The tower production line has a planned capacity of 95 tons of powdered laundry detergent per production shift. This output is sufficient to wash more than 3.8 million kilograms of laundry.

The manufacturing process covers the entire production cycle—from precise ingredient dosing and preparation of the detergent formulation to spraying the mixture at the top of the tower, hot-air drying, granule cooling, the addition of functional ingredients, and packaging of the finished product.

The relaunch of the tower production line is one of the key milestones in the integration of the facility into AFINA Group following the acquisition of the plant in 2025. The company continues to implement its production modernization program, introduce modern quality standards, and expand the plant’s manufacturing capabilities.

Today, the facility manufactures products under AFINA Group’s own brands, including Vukhastyk and SARMIX, while also providing contract manufacturing services for business partners. The company’s long-term development strategy includes increasing production volumes, expanding the product portfolio, and strengthening the position of Ukrainian manufacturing in both domestic and international markets.
