AFINA Group has officially completed the acquisition of PrJSC “Vinnytsiapobuthim.” Following the fulfillment of all legal requirements, the enterprise has been formally transferred into the ownership of the company. This marks the completion of a key privatization process for one of Ukraine’s most significant industrial assets in the household chemicals sector.
Operating in the Ukrainian market for over 20 years, AFINA Group is one of the country’s leading players in distribution, logistics, and private label development. The company has consistently invested in the growth of Ukrainian household and home care brands — including Vukhastyk, SARMIX, iFresh, and others — which are widely available in national retail chains and enjoy strong consumer demand.
PrJSC Vinnytsiapobuthim is one of the oldest household chemical producers in Ukraine, with a long-standing history and significant industrial capacity. The enterprise features the only tower spray-drying technology for laundry powders in Ukraine, a modern laboratory base, and well-developed production and warehousing infrastructure. The plant holds strategic importance for the national household chemicals industry and plays a vital role in the industrial development of its region.
AFINA Group notes that the acquisition of Vinnytsiapobuthim aligns with its long-term strategy to advance Ukrainian manufacturing. The company views the enterprise as a key platform for expanding its private label portfolio, launching new products, and implementing modern quality standards that meet the expectations of both national and international markets.
A particular focus in the further development of the plant will be on preserving and gradually increasing employment in the region. The company’s investment plans include expanding production capacities, which will create new job opportunities and promote professional development for local specialists.
AFINA Group sees the acquisition of PJSC Vinnytsiapobuthim as a responsible and strategic investment — one that strengthens Ukrainian industry, supports the country’s economic resilience, and contributes to the development of national brands during wartime.
