On June 18, a briefing was held in Vinnytsia with the participation of representatives of the Vinnytsia City Council and AFINA Group, during which the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership.
The document outlines the key areas of collaboration between the city and the company, including manufacturing development, job creation, veteran support, cooperation with educational institutions, and the implementation of social and environmental initiatives.
For AFINA Group, the development of manufacturing in Vinnytsia is one of the company’s key strategic priorities. At the end of 2025, the company invested in the restoration of one of Ukraine’s largest household chemicals production facilities and continues to modernize and develop the site.
The Vinnytsia facility already manufactures products under AFINA Group’s own brands, including Vukhastyk and SARMIX. The company also views contract manufacturing and cooperation with retail chains in the private label segment as promising areas for future growth.
Particular attention during the briefing was given to the plant’s production capabilities and the relaunch of its legendary tower detergent production line.
Recently, the facility successfully resumed operation of its tower production technology, which is currently the only active tower detergent production system in Ukraine. The 44-meter tower operates using spray-drying technology, producing porous detergent granules that dissolve quickly in water and deliver high washing performance.
The planned production capacity reaches up to 95 tons of powdered laundry detergent per shift.
“The relaunch of the tower production line marks an important milestone in the recovery of manufacturing and the development of Ukraine’s household chemicals industry. For us, it is not only the restoration of a unique technology but also the creation of new opportunities for manufacturing growth, brand development, and partnership projects,” AFINA Group commented.
Among the company’s key production development priorities are the modernization of facilities, strengthening laboratory capabilities, establishing a modern R&D function, expanding its own brands, developing contract manufacturing, and increasing export opportunities.
Another major focus remains team development and the creation of new jobs in the region.
The signed memorandum lays the foundation for long-term cooperation between AFINA Group and the Vinnytsia community. Both parties confirmed their shared commitment to developing modern manufacturing, supporting local initiatives, and strengthening the region’s economic potential.
